ABOUT Kamran Waidha
Kamran Waidha is a molecular oncology scientist and founder with deep expertise in cancer cell biology, signal transduction, and preclinical drug discovery. His work focuses on how RAF/MAPK and related pathways drive cancer progression, resistance, and therapeutic failure, and on translating these mechanistic insights into more effective small-molecule and peptide-based therapeutic candidates.
He has built his career across leading research environments in India and Israel, working at the interface of basic cancer biology and translational research. His experience spans in-vitro assays, preclinical pharmacology, cancer biology, natural-product therapeutics, medicinal chemistry, and translational virology, enabling a multidisciplinary approach to drug discovery and development.
Kamran is the author and co-author of research articles in respected international journals, including Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy, Molecules, International Journal of Molecular Sciences, and Blood Advances. His research has been recognized through the prestigious DRDO and ICMR-SRF awards, and he was awarded doctoral fellowships at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, including the Dozer and Kreitmann Fellowships, in recognition of his scientific merit and potential.
