ABOUT ABED AL-KADER YASSIN
Abed Al-Kader Yassin is a scientist and co-founder driving innovation in immunotherapy and cell therapy. His research and entrepreneurial work are supported by ISEF, VATAT and Israel Innovation Authority scholarships and grants.
He brings extensive hands-on expertise in immunology, cell therapy, FACS analysis and virological techniques, positioning him to lead the translation of complex mechanistic insights into scalable therapeutic solutions and manufacturing strategies.
His research focuses on engineering the physical and biochemical environment of T cells and CAR-T cells to improve activation, proliferation and functional performance. He has also co-developed novel colloidal lithography methods and elastic microstructures that combine biochemical, mechanical and topographical cues to drive cytotoxic T-cell activation.
